Oinochoe (Wine Jug), c. 330 BC. This wine jug provides the name for the Cleveland Group, comprising more than 20 similar vases decorated in the "Ornate" style of Apulian red-figure pottery. Close in style to the better known Darius Painter and the Patera and Ganymede Painters, many Cleveland Group vases feature very effeminate Eros figures like this one, here holding two phials and facing a woman before a harp.
