Vase, c. 1905-10. Favrile, a type of glass developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) in the early 1890s, has a satiny surface and rich, iridescent colours. Tiffany established glass furnaces in Corona, New York, where he produced beautifully designed and crafted Favrile glass vases and bowls.
