Decoration in the Nymphenburg Palace, Munich, Germany, (1928). 'About 1600...Vault-painting (lunettes of the window-niches) in the antiquarium of the Palace, Munich'. The Hall of Antiquities (Antiquarium), the largest Renaissance hall north of the Alps, was built 1568 and 1571 for the antique collection of Duke Albert V (1550-1579). It was remodelled as a banqueting hall by Friedrich Sustris in 1586-1600 and decorated by Peter Candid, Antonio Ponzano, and Hans Thonauer the Elder. After E. Ewald.
