The Battle of Leipzig, 19 October 1813, (1921). 'La Bataille des Nations près de Leipzig'. The Battle of Leipzig, also known as the Battle of the Nations, was fought from 16 to 19 October 1813, at Leipzig, Saxony. The French army under Emperor Napoleon I were decisively defeated by the coalition armies of Russia, Prussia, Austria, and Sweden.
