Marie Sallé (1707-1756) was a French dancer and choreographer, and made her first public performance at Lincoln's Inn Fields Theatre in London in 1716. After an engraving by N. de Larmessin, after 'Portrait of the dancer Maria Sallé', a painting by Nicolas Lancret, in the collection of the Rheinsberg Palace, Germany.
