Disarmament against the dagger, c1536, (1903). 'Désarmement Contre La Dague'. In 1536, Italian fencing master Achille Marozzo (1484-1553) published a work on the theory, sequences and techniques of combat with different weapons. Titled "Opera Nova dell'Arte delle Armi" ("The New Text on the Art of Arms"), it is considered one of the most important works about the subject in the 16th century.
