'Side Elevation of the Court of the Lions and Fountain', 19th century, (1907). Architectural drawing of a building in the palace of the Alhambra, Granada, Spain, which mainly dates from the 14th century. The white marble fountain, formed of twelve lions that throw jets of water, dates from the 11th century. From "The Alhambra: being a brief record of the Arabian conquest of the Peninsula with a particular account of the Mohammedan architecture and decoration" by Albert F. Calvert.
