'British Civilian Prisoners and their Quarters at Ruhleben', First World War, 1914-1918, (c1920). Ruhleben internment camp was a civilian detention camp near Berlin in Germany. Detainees included male citizens of the Allied Powers living, studying, working or on holiday in Germany at the outbreak of the war.
