German Renaissance ceiling and wall painting, (1898). 'Fig 1: Spandril on wall compartments. Fig 2: Panel in a window flanning. Figs 3 and 4: Decorations of columns. Fig 5: Decoration on the window parapets. Figs 6 and 7: Middle and corner pieces at the friezes bordering the wall compartments. Figs 8-11: Decoration on the ceiling beams with relief wood rosettes and knos [knots?]. Fig 12: Wooden hood moulding. The whole from the golden hall at Urach [Urach Residential Palace, Bad Urach, Baden-Württemberg]'. The Golden Hall was designed for the wedding of Duke Eberhard im Bart to Italian princess Barbara Gonzaga of Mantua in 1474. It was lavishly redecorated in the 17th century.
