'Ehrenbreitstein', c1872. View of the fortress at Ehrenbreitstein in Germany, at the junction of the Mosel and Rhine rivers. The fortress of Ehrenbreitstein was built in the 10th century and destroyed in 1799. It was rebuilt in the early 19th century.
