'Gallery in palace of the Colonna family, Rome', c1909. The Great Hall at the Galleria Colonna was commissioned in mid 1600s by Cardinal Girolamo I Colonna and his nephew Lorenzo Onofrio Colonna. Ceiling frescoes celebrate the role of Marcantonio II Colonna in the battle of Lepanto (1571). To be viewed on a Sun Sculpture stereoscope made by Underwood & Underwood.
