'The Duomo - the heart of Florence, (S.E.) Italy', c1909. Florence Cathedral was begun in 1296 in Gothic style to designs made by Arnolfo di Cambio and was structurally completed by 1436, with the dome designed by Filippo Brunelleschi. As part of the duomo complex it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To be viewed on a Sun Sculpture stereoscope made by Underwood & Underwood.
