'Palazzo Ca' d'Oro, home of an old merchant of Venice, (N.E.), Italy', c1909. The Ca' d'Oro or Palazzo Santa Sofia palace on the Grand Canal in Venice was built between 1428 and 1430 in Venetian Gothic style by Giovanni Bon and his son Bartolomeo Bon, it now houses the Galleria Giorgio Franchetti art museum.
