Tottenham New Church, Wood Green, 1844. Church built c1844 in what is now north London. 'For some time it had been contemplated to make provision for the spiritual of Wood-green; but the resources of the hamlet were evidently not equal to the expense of building a church. An appeal, however, was made to the parish generally: contributions flowed in, many of them anonymously; and these, aided by a grant by the Incorporated Society, has enabled the committee to meet the cost of the church...'. The architects were Scott and Moffat. From "Illustrated London News", 1844, Vol I.
