The Royal Exchange, 1838, 1844. View of the Royal Exchange in the City of London, before it was destroyed by fire in 1838. This was the second building on the site, designed by Edward Jarman. Opened in 1669, it was used by the Lloyd's insurance market. From "Illustrated London News", 1844, Vol V.
