Arch at West Bridge, 1844. One of four 'festal arches' in the town of Northampton, erected in honour of Queen Victoria who was staying at nearby Burghley House. This arch is decorated with foliage, and between the turrets is a sign: 'Long Live the Queen'. From "Illustrated London News", 1844, Vol V.
