London stage production starring amateur actors in two plays: Ben Jonson's "Every Man in his Humour", and the farce "A Good Night's Rest", an adaptation of "Passe Minuit". British caricaturist John Leech in costume as Master Matthews. 'Mr. Leech is the popular comic illustrator, to whose graphic pencil "Punch" is possibly more indebted for its success than to any of the pens that write for it...'.
