A U.S. Army-issued first aid kit from World War II labeled [For Gas Casualties Only]. The green painted metal box has four latches on each side so, that when open, the lid remains attached to the body. On the top of the kit, text reads, [FIRST AID / STOCK NO. 9776400 / FOR GAS CASUALITIES ONLY]. In the center, the [U.S. ARMY / MEDICAL DEPARTMENT] with their insignia of caduceus, or two snakes winding around a winged staff. A label of INSTRCTIONS-GAS CASUALTY KIT] is adhered to the lid interior. Listed are all the items found in the kit and how they should be used.
