African-American musician Stanley Clarke (born 1951) was a founding member of Return to Forever, one of the first jazz fusion bands. He is the first jazz-fusion bassist to headline tours, his shows sell out worldwide and his recordings have reached gold status. Upright bass with four (4) strings.
