African-American musician Stanley Clarke (born 1951) was a founding member of Return to Forever, one of the first jazz fusion bands. He is the first jazz-fusion bassist to headline tours, his shows sell out worldwide and his recordings have reached gold status. Upright bass with four (4) strings. Scroll at top with black pegs, tuners, and tuning keys. Saddle at bottom made of black wood. Steel strings at bottom are strung with green fibers. Bass stands upright on an endpin.
