African-American political activist, Baptist minister, and politician Rev. Jesse Jackson (born 1941) was a candidate for the US Democratic presidential nomination in 1984 and 1988, and served as a shadow senator for the District of Columbia from 1991 to 1997. Round pin-back button featuring blue and red text against a white background. It reads [WIN / Jesse / Jackson / '88 / WIN!]. A horizontal red line extends from each side of "88." There is a horizontal pin-back fastener on the silver-colored metal back.
