He is seated and has both hands resting on top of his cane. The image is oval-shaped and the rest of the card is empty space. On the back of the postcard the word [POST CARD] is printed at the top. The words [CORRESPONDENCE] and [ADDRESS] divide the back into two sections. Text marks the spot for postage in the top right corner.
