Black and white photograph of the Scott family home in Oberlin, Ohio. The two-storied, two-chimney, brick house has a covered portico that wraps that runs the length of the front of the house. There are two men are standing on the portico. One man, wearing a dark suit and white shirt, is facing the camera. To his right is another man, standing in profile, looking towards his right. There are three trees, a grass lawn and a sidewalk visible in the foreground and another house visible on the right of the photograph in the background. The photograph has been cut and torn into an irregular rectangular shape. A handwritten note on the back in black ink identifies the subjects, location and date.
