The Homer G. Phillips Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, was the only hospital for African Americans in the city from 1937 until 1979, when the city still had segregated facilities. The event was held on Friday, September 5, 1947 at Stowe Teachers College in Saint Louis, Missouri. The program is a single sheet of paper that was previously folded in half on a vertical crease.
