Project managers and a large group of the workforce all in hard hats posing with pints of beer on the roof of the new research building at the Glaxo site in Ware for the topping out ceremony. Laing built the new research building, gatehouse and services block at the Ware Glaxo site between 1985 and 1987, this £7.5m contract was Phase IV of construction at the extensive site and multiple buildings were added in following years.
