Christ Church, New Union Street, Coventry, 1941. A view looking north west across the nave and north aisle in Christ Church, showing the results of bomb damage. During the Second World War Coventry City centre was devastated by air raids. The body of Christ Church was severely damaged by a bombing raid on the 10th April 1941. Today only the steeple survives.
