St John the Baptist's Church, Fleet Street, Bablake, Coventry, 1941. St John the Baptist's Church viewed from the south east showing windows boarded as a result of bomb damage. During the Coventry Blitz St John's, Bablake suffered bomb damage to its windows and roof. In this view a ladder can be seen providing access to the roof of the south chancel aisle. A notice giving directions to the nearest ARP Shelter (Air Raid Precaution Shelter) can be seen on the street light in the left foreground.
