Gosford Street, Coventry, 1941. View showing part of the Mermaid Inn and the premises of Eaves's at 110 Gosford Street showing bomb damage. Coventry City centre was devastated by air raids on 14th November 1940. The bombing raids left the nearby cathedral in ruins and destroyed much of the historic fabric of the city.
