McDivitt on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Wasp after their record-breaking 62-revolution, 97-hour and 56-minute flight which ended in the Atlantic Ocean about 400 miles east of Cape Kennedy at 12:12 p.m. (Eastern Time).
