STS-94 landing, Kennedy Space Center, Florida, USA, July 17, 1994. Launched on July 1, 1994, the Space Shuttle Columbia mission was the first re-flight of the same vehicle, crew, and payloads. The mission continued Columbia's STS-83 mission, which had to be cut short due to a fuel cell problem. The primary payload was the Microgravity Science Laboratory, where the crew tested hardware, facilities, and procedures that would be used on the ISS.
