A view looking north along St Mary at Hill towards St Margaret Pattens Church on Rood Lane, showing handcarts in the foreground loaded with crates. With its close proximity to the River Thames and the old Billingsgate Fish Market, the buildings on St Mary at Hill were occupied by a number of fish salesmen.
