Flea and Firkin Public House, Grosvenor Street, Manchester, 1990-1994. The corner entrance of the Flea and Firkin public house viewed from the north-west, showing the green tiling and plaque of raised lettering of the building's original name. The Grosvenor Picture Palace opened in 1915. From the 1960s it was used for bingo, first in addition to showing films and later as a sole function. It then became a snooker club. The building remained largely unaltered until it was converted into a pub which opened in 1990, though much of the interior remains intact.
