Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain, Piccadilly Circus, City of Westminster, Greater London Authority, 1895-1905. A view of Piccadilly Circus from the south-east showing street vendors seated around the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain (also known as Eros). This photograph appears to have been taken sometime between 1895-1905 and therefore it seems unlikely that the photograph was taken by Charles William Prickett who was born in 1896. The photographs in the rest of his collection were taken between 1920-1940.
