German naval bombardment of Scarborough, North Yorkshire, 1914 (2014). A reconstruction illustration showing pupils and teachers from the Queen Margaret's School having a refreshment break supplied by the Vicar on their march to Seamer in 'An Episode of War'. The illustration is on page 7 of the English Heritage publication 'An Episode of War: An Account of the German Naval Bombardment of Scarborough 16th December 1914'. The caption on the back of the illustration reads; 'And has bread and a hot drink from the vicar'. The drawing has two images; IC310/031on the top and IC310/032 on the bottom. The scan has been cropped.
