Cheddar, Sedgemoor, Somerset, 20/06/1953. A group of people seated outside a cafe in Cheddar, during a Laing staff outing to Minehead. In 1947, after a seven year break, Laing had resurrected their 'Area Outings' for staff and their families, with trips taking place in May and June. This trip was for their South-West Area staff from Bristol and Plymouth. The shot appears to have been taken in Cheddar as they also stopped off here on the trip.
