Olivet Deptford Baptist Church, 160 Edward Street, Deptford, Lewisham, London, 19/01/1981. The interior of the Olivet Deptford Baptist Church, showing the brickwork and joinery of the sloping walls. Construction of the church began in February 1980, using a laminated timber frame with brick cladding and precast concrete planks forming the floors. The building contained a hall, school room, dining area, kitchen, crèche, and a flat for the minister. This photograph was published in the March 1981 edition of 'Team Spirit', the Laing newsletter.
