Mayday Hospital, London Road, West Thornton, Croydon, London, 31/07/1986. A hydrotherapy pool in the new rehabilitation centre at Mayday Hospital. A £1.2 million contract was awarded to Laing's Southern Region in 1984 for further work at Mayday Hospital. Following Phase I of the redevelopment, which included a new surgical block and services block, this new contract was for the upgrading of geriatric facilities to include a rehabilitation unit, wards, and a hydrotherapy pool.
