Millennium Dome, Drawdock Road, Greenwich, London, 28/07/1998. An interior view of The Millennium Dome. Showing the early stages of construction of the central performance arena with sections of sheet piling being driven into the ground. A joint venture between Laing and McAlpine, the theatre would have a capacity of 11,000 seats with "variable geometry" enabling them to be moved upwards and inwards towards the central stage.
