Dunelm House, Durham University, New Elvet, Durham, County Durham, 01/10/1966. Dunelm House at Durham University seen from south-east with Durham Cathedral in the background. Dunelm House was designed by Architects Co-Partnership, under the supervision of Sir Ove Arup, and was built by Laing's Construction Company for Durham University. This Brutalist style student's union building was completed in 1966 and later won a R.I.B.A. Architecture Award in 1967.
