Empress State Building, Lillie Road, Earl's Court, Hammersmith and Fulham, London, 08/05/1961. A view looking north from the controls of one Laing crane towards another on the roof of the Empress State Building during its construction. Laing built the foundations and the reinforced concrete frame of the building, work began in November 1959 and ran until July 1961.
