Laing Sports Ground, Rowley Lane, Elstree, Barnet, London, 16/06/1979. Young people taking part in an obstacle course race during the annual Laing Gala Day. An article published in August 1979 in Laing's monthly newsletter 'Team Spirit' describes that there was an 'It's a Knockout' competition on the afternoon of the gala day, won by Laing's Mill Hill team. 'It's a Knockout' was a popular television outdoor game show, broadcast between the mid-1960s and the 1980s, involving teams competing against each other on obstacle courses and other challenges.
