Sir Maurice Laing and Martin Brandon-Bravo, the Amateur Rowing Association President, with a crew in Laing hats and sweatshirts and their boat in front of Hammersmith Bridge. The occasion was the launch of a sponsorship campaign to support British Rowing. Laing would provide £115,000 over three seasons to help prepare athletes for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
