Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Palatine Road, Northenden, Manchester, 1990-2015. The auditorium in the Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, viewed from the centre of the circle. The Forum Cinema opened in 1934 and was renamed The ABC Cinema in 1964. The building was closed as a cinema in 1974 and became a theatre known as the Forum Theatre. It later became an Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. The auditorium remains largely unaltered. The date of this photograph is not known, and nor is the date when the building began to be used as an Assembly Hall; a date range of 1990-2015 has been given but it may have been photographed earlier than this.
