'The sculptural enrichment of the new east front of Buckingham Palace [in London, has]...been completed...These sculptures adorn the centre and two wings of the Park facade...Over the north wing is a group of the Hours, upon a pedestal pierced with a circle intended for a wind-dial, flanked with recumbent figures'.
