FW Woolworth and Company Limited, 181-185 Western Road, Brighton, The City of Brighton and Hove, 1970s-1980s. The front facade of the Woolworth's store at 181-185 Western Road, seen from the south-east. The Woolworth's store on Western Road, numbered store 73, opened in 1916. It was modernised and was reduced in size in 1964, and was later partially occupied by Clinton Cards. The shop closed in 2008 and a branch of H&M opened at the premises in 2009.
