Diane découvrant la grossesse de Callisto, between 1635 and 1640. Diana discovers the pregnant Callisto. In the shade of drapery hanging from a tree, Diana and her nymphs discover Callisto, who collapses on the ground. Another nymph holds Diana's bow. Behind is a fountain with a statue of a pissing Cupid. (Zeus transformed himself into the figure of Diana (also known as Artemis) to pursue Callisto, and Callisto slept with him believing Zeus to be Diana).
