Liverpool Cricket and Sports Club, Aigburth Road, Aigburth, Liverpool, 2005. The cricket pavilion of Liverpool Cricket and Sports Club at Aigburth Cricket Ground, seen from the east. The pavilion was designed by Thomas Harnett Harrison and was built in 1880 and opened in 1881. It is one of the most substantial club pavilions in Britain, and is also the oldest at any first class venue. The cost of constructing the pavilion was reputedly £21,000.
