Geoffrey Hughes Memorial Ground, Sports Pavilion, Mather Avenue, Wyncote, Liverpool, 2005. The clubhouse and viewing platform at the sports pavilion at the Geoffrey Hughes Memorial Ground, seen from the north-west. The sports pavilion complex was designed by Gerald Beech, in association with Geoffrey Holland. It was built in 1962 and cost £101,000. The complex, which includes changing room block, clubhouse and promenade, is Listed Grade II and won a Class One Award from the Civic Trust in 1963.
