Walthamstow Stadium, Chingford Road, Walthamstow, Waltham Forest, Greater London Authority, 2006. The illuminated neon sign on central parapet of Walthamstow Stadium, seen at night. The sign was erected in 1951. The rear of the parapet is the stadium's totalisator, or tote board. It is part of the Grade II listed entrance range. The stadium, which was built in 1932/33, closed in 2008.
