Cricket Green, Mitcham, Merton, Greater London Authority, 2010. A cricket match in play on the pitch on Cricket Green, Mitcham, with The White House in the centre beyond the pitch. Mitcham Green may have been first used for cricket in around 1707. It was later known as Lower Green and was renamed Cricket Green by 1913. The area was designated as a Conservation Area in 1968.
