Brockwell Lido, Dulwich Road, Brockwell Park, Lambeth, Greater London Authority, 2012. The swimming pool at Brockwell Lido in Brockwell Park, seen from the north end with sunbathers in the foreground and a lifeguard watching over swimmers in the pool. The Brockwell Lido opened in July 1937. It was designed by Harry Rowbotham and T L Smithson in a Modernist style for London County Council (LCC). The lido is one of four surviving outdoor pools built, funded or managed by LCC from 1906-1939. It is Grade II listed.
